DISPATCH DESK & COMPANY WEBSITE
Privacy policy
Effective October 15, 2026 · Last updated October 15, 2026
Your Telegram workspace stays on your computer. Messages you confirm go directly to Telegram. Our support-email retention period is 12 months after resolution, with limited legal exceptions described below.
Who we are and what this policy covers
BRIGHT SIRIUS INC., an Illinois corporation, publishes Dispatch Desk and this company website. This policy explains how information is handled when you use our Windows application, visit this website or contact us. Contact us at support@brightsirius.app for support or privacy requests.
Dispatch Desk is an independent application that uses the Telegram API. It lets you select existing conversations and send separate copies of an announcement from your Telegram account. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Telegram.
Information the application processes
To connect your account, the app processes your Telegram phone number, Telegram application credentials, login or email-verification codes and, when required, your two-step verification password. Codes and passwords are used for authentication and are not deliberately saved by Dispatch Desk. After sign-in, the app saves its Telegram authorization session and application credentials locally so you can stay connected.
The app requests account and conversation information from Telegram. It retains your account identifier and display information, conversation names and identifiers, available usernames, chat types and addressing information needed to send messages. Telegram’s dialog responses can include recent-message information in memory; Dispatch Desk does not provide a full conversation-history inbox.
Your local workspace contains recipient lists, templates, draft announcements and a history of announcements sent through the app, including message text, selected recipients, results and timestamps. The app uses this information to display your workspace, send announcements you confirm, report results and handle interrupted sends and retries.
Where app data goes
Dispatch Desk communicates directly with Telegram to authenticate, load conversations and send messages. Telegram receives the authentication information needed for sign-in, message content, recipients and connection information such as your IP address. Selected recipients receive the messages you confirm. Replies remain in regular Telegram conversations. Telegram handles information under its privacy policy.
Bright Sirius Inc does not operate a server that receives your Telegram credentials, authorization session, conversation list or message content from the current application. These data are not uploaded to our company website. Information you separately choose to email to support is handled as described below.
Local storage and security
Saved app state, including its local backup, is encrypted using Electron safeStorage backed by Windows protection for your Windows account. Login codes and passwords are not part of that saved state. Protect access to your Windows account and computer: software with access to your account may still access your data, and no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
The current app includes no publisher-operated advertising, tracking analytics or remote crash-reporting service. Windows, Telegram and platform services may process information under their own settings and policies.
Website visits
Our website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure. Serving and securing a page involves technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested page and request time. Hosting providers may process technical logs and necessary cookies under their own policies, including OpenAI’s privacy policy. Access-controlled previews may also require the hosting provider’s sign-in.
The website code we publish adds no advertising cookies, analytics trackers or visitor-registration forms. Contact links open your email application; opening a link does not send an email until you choose to send it. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Support and business correspondence
When you email us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message and any attachments you choose to include. We use these to answer questions, troubleshoot problems, handle privacy requests and maintain necessary business records. Our support mailbox uses Porkbun email hosting, which processes email under Porkbun’s privacy policy. We also use Google Gmail for correspondence sent to our existing Gmail address, under Google’s privacy policy.
Please send only information needed for your request. Do not send Telegram login codes, passwords, authorization sessions or app vault files. Redact other people’s information from screenshots unless it is needed to explain the issue.
Purchases and other disclosures
A Microsoft Store release is being prepared. When purchases are available through the Store, Microsoft will process purchase, account and distribution information under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Dispatch Desk does not request or store payment-card details. Microsoft may make sales and diagnostic reports available to the publisher through its Store services.
We do not sell personal information or use app data for targeted advertising. Information we hold may be shared with service providers needed to host the website or handle correspondence, or disclosed where required by law or necessary to address a legal claim. We do not have remote access to data stored only in your app’s local workspace.
How long information is kept
App workspace data and its encrypted backup remain on your computer until you remove them. Closing the app does not delete them, and uninstalling may leave application data or copies in your own backups.
We delete routine support conversations and their attachments from our active support mailbox within 12 months after the request is resolved. We may keep records longer when needed to meet legal obligations or address an ongoing dispute; those records are removed when that need ends. This period does not govern copies in your own mailbox or a provider’s independently maintained backup and security records. Hosting, Telegram, Microsoft and email providers apply their own retention practices to information they control.
Your choices and privacy requests
You choose recipients and review each announcement before starting it. In Settings, use “Log out & remove local data.” When logout succeeds, the app ends the connected Telegram session and removes that account’s local workspace, saved credentials and vault backups. Workspaces from other accounts and demo data are separate. If logout fails, the local removal may not complete; retry or contact support for help removing the local app data.
You can also revoke the app’s authorization through Telegram’s connected-device settings. Removing local data or revoking a session does not delete messages already sent or copies held by Telegram or recipients. You control copies retained in your computer backups.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information we hold, or to object to or limit certain processing. Email us to make a request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the request and will respond as required by applicable law. Requests about Telegram, Microsoft, Porkbun or Google accounts should also be directed to the relevant provider.
Location, children and policy changes
Bright Sirius Inc is based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in other countries under their policies and applicable legal requirements. Dispatch Desk is intended for work coordination by adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.
We update this policy when our practices change and show the revised date on this page. Material changes will be highlighted here or through the app as appropriate.
